MATH - today we learned different strategies when multiplying by 2, 5 or 10. First, we could count by 2, 5, or 10 in our heads (or out loud), second, we could skip count on a hundreds chart, OR skip count on a number line.  Answer the following questions in your planner to get a prize tomorrow morning.

1.  2 x 3 =                             4. 5 x 2 =                       7. 10 x 2 =
2.  2 x 6 =                             5. 5 x 6 =                       8. 10 x 7 =
3.  2 x 10 =                           6. 5 x 8 =                       9. 10 x 10=

SUPER SENTENCE: Our super sentence this week, is a sentence containing dialogue. Tell your parents what dialogue means. My example sentence was:

" Yesterday I went to the toy store and bought lots of new outfits for my dolls," said Jimmy.

Now, try and create a sentence containing dialogue for your parents, and have them respond with a sentence containing dialogue. Have fun!
