Today's Learning

Today we started our LITERACY CENTERS! For our first day, you all did a great job. Can you remember the four stations we worked at today? Which was your favourite? Write down your favourite station so far in your planner to receive a prize tomorrow :)

In MATH, we read, Amanda Bean's Amazing Dream, and it was all about multiplication. Then, we split into our math problem solving groups to complete the following word problem:

The 3rd graders are marching in the school parade.

 There are 20 third graders in Mrs. V's class. The class

must march in equal rows, and there must be more

 then 1 student in each row. Show all the different ways

they can march.

Next, we shared our answers with the class and actually formed HUMAN ARRAYS! Can you think of the answers to this question and explain what an array is to your parents?

In EQAO prep we wrote a paragraph about a new type of transportation, then spoke into the microphone and read our paragraphs to the class!! I loved hearing your creative thinking.
