Today we learned how to write a Detailed Standard Sentence. The example I gave to the kids was, "Yesterday my little brother spent his entire allowance on pink and green polka-dot pajamas at Sears because he loves to sleep." This covers WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY.
Write a funny detailed standard sentence for your parents and see if they can spot the 5 Ws.
(don't forget capital at beginning and punctuation at end)

In math we were talking about rounding again, this seems to be a very tricky concept for a lot of students. Please take the time to review rounding to the nearest 10 (grade 3s) and to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 (grade 4s). Find sample questions below.
 
Round the following numbers to the nearest 10
 
1. 46
2. 412
3.869
4. 1, 204
5. 7, 827
