QUIZ DAY TOMORROW!

As you all know we have our weekly spelling quiz tomorrow morning, so please review your spelling words tonight! Also, just a reminder to PLEASE use the word wall thats up around the classroom during your quiz, and during independent writing so that you are spelling those words correctly.

We also have a "Super Sentence of the Week" quiz tomorrow. The super sentence this was a Compound Sentence. This kind of sentence is broken up in the middle with a comma, and followed by a conjunction (joining word, such as BUT, SO, AND, YET, OR). Here is an example of a compound sentence:

 

The colder winter weather is disappearing quickly, but it's okay because I love when the flowers start to blossom and the grass gets green.
